Ranchi: In a demonstration of sensitivity towards employee welfare, the Ranchi District Administration organized a special Pension Court and Retirement Farewell Ceremony for retiring district teachers. The event was chaired by District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri at the Conference Hall, Block-A, Collectorate.

The main objective of the program was to honor the retiring educators for their long and dedicated service and, significantly, to ensure the immediate disbursal of all pensionary benefits on the very day of their retirement.

Deputy Commissioner Honors 14 Employees

Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri personally honored a total of 12 retiring teachers, one Orderly (Aadeshpal), and one Block Education Extension Officer by presenting them with mementos, shawls, and certificates of appreciation.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhajantri emphasized that teachers are the builders of society and their contributions strengthen future generations. He highlighted the achievement of providing all retirement benefits on the same day as a reflection of the administration's commitment to the teaching community.

Bhajantri advised the retirees to remain engaged in the next phase of their lives, stay active in social service, and achieve new accomplishments.

Commitment to Welfare and Respect

The Deputy Commissioner thanked District Education Superintendent Badal Raj and the staff of the District Education Superintendent's office for the successful organization of the event.

This initiative is part of the District Administration's continuous effort to prioritize the welfare and respect of employees, especially teachers, serving as an example of administrative transparency and sensitivity.
