Ranchi: A firing incident took place around 9:00 PM on January 17 near Rajdhani Manya Tower, close to Piska More (Pandara OP area). The clash was linked to a dispute over a 3-acre land deal and money transactions between two groups.
In the incident, Akash Singh was shot in the right arm, while Vikas Singh received two bullets in the chest and one in the left arm. From the other group, Ravi Yadav was also injured by gunfire. Akash Singh and Vikas Singh are undergoing treatment at RIMS, Ranchi, while Ravi Yadav is being treated at Orchid Hospital.
Police recovered 7 empty cartridges from the spot and arrested 6 accused. A case has been registered under relevant BNS sections and the Arms Act, and further raids are ongoing to arrest other involved criminals.
