CCL Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Grandeur, CMD Hoists National Flag
Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with enthusiasm and dignity at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium, Gandhinagar. On the occasion, the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Nilendu Kumar Singh, hoisted the National Flag and inspected the ceremonial parade.
The event was attended by Directors, senior officials, workers’ representatives, employees of CCL and their family members in large numbers. Addressing the gathering, the CMD paid tribute to the makers of the Constitution and emphasized that rapid development is meaningful only when it is environmentally safe, socially inclusive and future-oriented. He highlighted improvements in coal production and dispatch, progress in sustainable mining practices, expansion of solar energy projects and initiatives undertaken under corporate social responsibility.
The programme also featured cultural performances by school students. Participants who delivered outstanding performances during the parade and other events were felicitated, making the celebration memorable and inspiring.
