Prabhat Pheri on the Occasion of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakashotsav Reaches Kanke Road on the Seventh Day

Ranchi: On the occasion of the Prakashotsav of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Prabhat Pheri being taken out by the marked its seventh day on Sunday, December 21. The Prabhat Pheri started from the Gurudwara at 6:00 a.m. and reached Metro Gali Chowk. From there, devotees proceeded by bus arranged by the Satsang Sabha to Balaji Plaza Apartment on Kanke Road, where the families of Anchal Kingar, Ajay Dhamija and Naveen Dhamija welcomed the Prabhat Pheri with devotion and warmth.

Thereafter, the Prabhat Pheri reached Rashmi-Rathi Apartment at Chandni Chowk, Kanke Road, where the Sangat was welcomed with a shower of flowers outside the flat of Amarjeet Girdhar. After Shabad Kirtan and Ardas performed by Meena Girdhar, the Prabhat Pheri concluded at around 9:30 a.m. At this occasion, the Girdhar family also organized tea and snacks langar for the Sadh Sangat.

During the Prabhat Pheri, Babli Dua, Jyoti Dhamija, Meena Girdhar, Bimla Munjal, Sheetal Munjal, Geeta Kataria, Neeta Midhha, Indu Papneja, Manjeet Kaur, Reshma Girdhar, Mamta Thareja and Surjeet Munjal, along with other devotees, rendered Shabads such as “In putran ke sees par vaar diye…”, “Sura so pehchaniye…” and “Sawa lakh se ek ladaun…”, filling the atmosphere with devotion.

Members of the Kirtan Mandali and Shri Nishan Sahib were welcomed with garlands and flower showers. Sardar Chhotu Singh carried the Shri Nishan Sahib and led the Prabhat Pheri, while Guru Ghar sevadar Manish Midhha offered Ardas in front of devotees’ homes, praying for well-being and prosperity.

Media in-charge of the Satsang Sabha, Naresh Papneja, informed that the Prabhat Pheri will conclude on December 23. After the return of devotees from Patna Sahib, the Prakash Parv will be celebrated on January 3 and 4. On this occasion, a special Diwan will be organized on January 3 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and on January 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Renowned Sikh Kirtani Jatha Bhai Baljeet Singh Ji Patiala Wale will specially visit Ranchi for the celebrations.

A large number of devotees participated in today’s Prabhat Pheri, including Arjun Dev Midhha, Sundar Lal Midhha, Suresh Midhha, Ashok Gera, Hargobind Singh, Mohan Kathpal, Anoop Girdhar, Manish Girdhar, Jeevan Midhha, Pratap Arora, Jeetu Arora, Basant Kathpal, Prakash Girdhar, Naveen Midhha, Harvinder Singh, Rakesh Ghai, Umesh Munjal, Sumit Girdhar, Pankaj Midhha, Gaurav Girdhar, Amar Munjal, Harpal Kaur Midhha, Usha Jhandai, Anjana Girdhar, Urmila Khatri, Sheetal Arora, Harnam Thareja, Raj Kaur Kathpal, Harjinder Kaur, Payal Girdhar, Rajni Tehri, Roshni Girdhar, Risha Munjal, Payal Malhotra, Leena Girdhar, Kiran Arora, Khushboo Midhha, Sonia Girdhar, Neetu Kingar, Savita Kingar, Anju Dhamija and many others.
