(Lohardaga): DC Dr. Tarachand directs Police and Transport Departments ahead of New Year celebrations; special focus on controlling overspeeding.
The District Administration of Lohardaga is fully prepared to maintain Law and Order during the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations. Today, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Tarachand conducted a crucial review meeting with the Police Department and other officials in his office chamber.
⚠️ 'Anti-Social Elements Will Not Be Spared': DC
To ensure peace and security, DC Dr. Tarachand issued several strict directives:
* Police Force on 'High Alert': The DC ordered the Police Department to always remain in alert mode.
* Special Deployment at Tourist Spots: The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) has been instructed to identify all major tourist destinations in the district and immediately depute Magistrates there.
* Crackdown on Overspeeding: The District Transport Officer (DTO), in coordination with the Police Department, has been ordered to regularly check vehicles for overspeeding and verify necessary documents.
* He issued a stern warning that anti-social elements attempting to disrupt law and order will not be spared under any circumstances.
🚓 Special Patrolling and Security
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sadiq Anwar Rizvi, who was present at the meeting, assured the Deputy Commissioner that the police force would be kept on high alert. He added that special patrolling would be conducted throughout the district during the festive season.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, and other senior officials.
