Christmas Get-Together 2025 Organised at Ranchi Collectorate

Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Bhuvaniya Attends as Chief Guest

Ranchi: The Christmas Get-Together 2025 was organised at the Collectorate premises in on 20 December 2025 by officers and staff of the district administration. Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Bhuvaniya was present as the chief guest at the programme.

The programme began with prayers and Christmas carol singing. Officers and employees exchanged Christmas greetings with one another and participated in the celebrations in a warm and cordial atmosphere.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Development Commissioner said that Christmas conveys the message of love, peace, compassion and brotherhood. He stated that the festival inspires society to strengthen harmony and unity. He extended heartfelt Christmas and New Year greetings to all officers and staff of the Collectorate and said that the district administration will continue to work with dedication towards public service and development activities.

Several senior officials attended the programme, including Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Utkarsh Kumar, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok, ITDA Ranchi’s Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, Special Land Acquisition Officer Moni Kumari Kumar, LRDC Ranchi Mukesh Kumar, District Accounts Officer Sarika Bhagat, District Transport Officer Akhilesh Kumar, District Education Officer Vinay Kumar and Assistant Director, Social Security, Ravi Shankar Mishra, along with a large number of officers and staff from various departments of the Collectorate.

Cultural performances and traditional Christmas songs added to the festive spirit and made the occasion more vibrant.

The event was part of the district administration’s tradition of celebrating festivals as occasions for togetherness and harmony, aimed at promoting mutual understanding, unity and brotherhood among different religions and cultures.
