DC and SSP conduct joint inspection and briefing at Morabadi Ground

Ranchi, November 15
In view of the Jharkhand State Foundation Day celebrations, the district administration and police have intensified preparations to ensure smooth law and order and security arrangements for the state-level main event scheduled on 15 November at Morabadi Ground, Ranchi, and the cultural programme to be held on 16 November.

Deputy Commissioner–cum–District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan jointly inspected the Morabadi Ground and conducted a joint briefing of all deputed magistrates, police officers and security forces.

During the inspection, Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Bhuvaniya, City SP Paras Rana, Rural SP Praveen Pushkar, Traffic SP Rakesh Singh, Sadar SDO Utkarsh Kumar and other senior district officials were present.

Key Instructions Issued

Three-tier security arrangements—inner, middle and outer cordons—will be deployed at the venue.

Drone surveillance, CCTV monitoring and Quick Response Teams (QRT) will be stationed to ensure rapid action.

Guidelines were given for proper parking and traffic management.

Separate arrangements will be made for VIP/VVIP parking and general spectators.

A detailed traffic diversion plan has been prepared and additional traffic police will be deployed at important junctions.

Fire brigade, ambulance and medical teams will remain on standby.

Security checks at the stage and spectator areas will include metal detectors, DFMDs and handheld scanners.

Women police personnel will conduct security checks for female attendees. Barricading and mandatory identity card checking at entry points will be enforced.

Deputy Commissioner Bhajantri said that the State Foundation Day represents the identity and pride of Jharkhand and instructed all departments to work together to ensure the event is peaceful, safe and well-organized.

The district administration also shared the grievance redressal WhatsApp number “Abua Saathi – 9430328080” and highlighted the campaign message “Child-Marriage-Free Ranchi – Our Collective Responsibility.”
