Ranchi: A meeting of the District Advisory Committee (PC & PNDT) was held to discuss various matters related to the registration and renewal of ultrasound centres, entry of machines in Form-B, joining of doctors, and the purchase and shifting of USG machines.
After considering applications received for the registration and renewal of ultrasound centres, the committee approved the registration of 13 centres and renewal of 3 centres.
The committee also approved the entry of machines in Form-B for institutions and the joining of doctors after verification of their certificates. The committee directed that complete information regarding the joining of doctors be uploaded on the Garima Portal.
Necessary guidelines were also issued regarding the inspection of ultrasound centres. The committee emphasized that various centres should be inspected at regular intervals and that appropriate action should be taken against those found violating the prescribed rules.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Development Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, IAS Probationer Astha Sharan, Civil Surgeon Dr. Amarendra Prasad, committee members and the PC & PNDT Coordinator, among others.
