Deputy Commissioner Sameera S. and Superintendent of Police Reshma Rameshan on Saturday reviewed the preparations underway on the university campus for the convocation. Prior to this, the DC, SP, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh held a review meeting with officials regarding the program. Following this, the venue at the GLA College Stadium was inspected.
During this meeting, information was gathered on the green room, student seating arrangements, D-area, VIP seating, vehicle parking, DICE plan, communication plan, and other aspects.
It is worth noting that Nilamber-Pitamber University was established in 2009.
On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor stated that the Governor and two ministers would attend the convocation. The MPs from Palamu and Chatra have also been invited as guests. He added that 77 students will be awarded gold medals at the event, of which 55 have confirmed so far. While 15 medals will be presented by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, the remaining gold medals will be presented by ministers.
Several university officials, including the Sadar SDM, NDC, and Sadar SDPO, were present during the inspection.
