During the investigation, a case of a fake doctor performing major surgeries without a degree was discovered, raising serious questions about the health system.
The raiding team included Haidernagar Medical Officer Dr. Jyotish Kumar, Circle Officer and Magistrate Santosh Kumar, Police Station Incharge Afzal Ansari, and police personnel.
The team first raided Vindhyachal Hospital, located near Haidernagar High School. The hospital had a proper signboard, but the necessary documents related to its operation were not presented. During the investigation, a female patient from Alarpur village in the Hussainabad police station area was found admitted, having given birth to twins a few days ago. The investigation also revealed that the surgery was performed by a fake doctor at the hospital, while the operator, Raju Paswan, does not hold any medical degree.
Considering the safety of the patients and newborns, the administration immediately referred them by ambulance to Sadar Hospital, Medininagar. Vindhyachal Hospital was also sealed with immediate effect, and the local police were entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring the hospital premises.
Officials directed that no one enter the premises until further orders. Following Vindhyachal Hospital, raids were also conducted at Aastha Hospital and Khushboo Hospital on Marghatiya Road. Serious irregularities were discovered upon examination of the documents, following which both hospitals were sealed.
