Jharkhand/Ramgarh: Crowds of devotees are flocking to the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple at Jhanda Chowk in the city to worship. A large number of devotees are also attending the morning and evening aarti. The puja is held daily from 9 a.m.
The temple priest, Pandit Liladhar Sharma, is performing the puja for the main patron, Harsh Anand, and his wife, Nishhu Anand. On Saturday evening, before the evening aarti, women performed a collective aarti by decorating a puja plate with nine lamps.
On September 29th, the Navdurga Jagran Mandali will organize a Mata Ki Chowki (a religious gathering) in the temple premises, decorating the court and lighting the lamp. Bhajan singers Chandan Chaudhary and Priya Kumari will enthrall devotees with their hymns dedicated to the Mother Goddess.
On September 30th, a havan and Kanjak pujan will be performed. On October 1st, prasad from the Bhandara will be distributed starting at 8 a.m. The mass aarti was attended by Punjabi Hindu community president Surat Chandra Vasudev, general secretary Mahesh Marwah, Veena Marwah, Janak Rani Sharma, Anju Chaddha, Sangeeta Marwah, Asha Marwah, Nirmala Khosla, Prabha Marwah, Neeta Chaddha, Manju Kakkar, Rita Agarwal, Sunita Anand, Poonam Sondhi, Rajni Bohra and many other women.
