Jharkhand/Ramgarh: Sharadiya Navratri Puja began with the chanting of Vedic mantras at the famous Mahamaya Temple, Maya Tungri, located in Kankebar, Ramgarh district, Jharkhand. Acharya Dinesh Pathak, the temple's chief priest, performed the Kalash installation along with his associates, Pandit Sanjay Pathak and Rahul Mishra.
Damodar Mahato and his wife, Archana Mahato, performed the ritualistic Kalash installation as hosts on this occasion. The temple premises are being attractively decorated for Sharadiya Navratri. The Mahamaya Temple will also host grand daily pujas, bhajan-kirtans, and evening aarti.
