"Jolly LLB 3" becomes a hit, crosses ₹50 crore in 3 days

Entertainment: The powerful pair of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi is back to make audiences laugh and think. The third installment of the popular courtroom drama franchise "Jolly LLB" is now a hot topic in theaters.

Arshad Warsi won audiences' hearts with his lead role in the first film, released in 2013, while Akshay Kumar's presence in "Jolly LLB 2," released in 2017, was a box office success. Now, nearly eight years later, director Subhash Kapoor returns with "Jolly LLB 3," which released on September 19th.

According to reports, this long-awaited film received a tremendous response on its first day. After opening with approximately ₹12 crore on Friday, collections jumped to ₹20 crore on Saturday. The film held strong on Sunday, earning around ₹21 crore (approximately $2.1 billion). In just three days, the film has grossed approximately ₹53.50 crore (approximately $53.5 billion).

This time, the story's highlight is that for the first time, both "Jolly" actors, Akshay and Arshad, are facing off in a courtroom. Audience favorite Saurabh Shukla once again reprises his memorable role as a judge. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao also return to their respective roles.

The film is receiving a strong response on social media. Audiences say that Akshay and Arshad's rivalry, the courtroom banter, and powerful dialogues have made this film a huge success not only on screen but also at the box office.
