Entrepreneurship Awareness Program Held

 

Jharkhand/Ranchi: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, the local office of the MSME-Development Office, Ranchi, organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program on September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Tatisilve, Ranchi.

The purpose of this program was to provide detailed information about Government of India schemes to Jharkhand Government Tool Room students, local entrepreneurs, and prospective entrepreneurs. More than 110 participants participated and received information.

Surendra Sharma, Assistant Director Grade-I, MSME-Development Office, Ranchi, delivered the welcome address and conducted the stage. The program began with the presentation of green saplings and shawls to the honored guests. Following this, the guests on the stage were greeted by M.K. Gupta, Principal, Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi; Philip Mathew, Past President, Jharkhand Small Industries Association, Ranchi; Arun Khemka, Past President, Jharkhand Small Industries Association, Ranchi; Sarita Pandey, Company Secretary; and President, Laghu Udyog Bharati - Women's Wing, Ranchi, among others, lit the lamp.

Surendra Sharma, Assistant Director Grade-I, MSME Development Office, Ranchi, highlighted the program's objectives and explained MSME schemes in detail through a PPT presentation. He encouraged all participants and speakers on the stage to learn about the Government of India's schemes for the development of MSMEs. He also urged youth and women to become entrepreneurs, adapting to current demand, and to connect themselves and others with their ventures, as jobs are currently limited.

M.K. Gupta, Principal, Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Ranchi, in his keynote address, encouraged all participants to establish self-employment and assured them of all possible support. Arun Khemka, Past President, Jharkhand Small Industries Association, Ranchi, shared his story of becoming a successful entrepreneur and the obstacles he faced, urging them to act with courage.

Philip Mathew, Past President, Jharkhand Small Industries Association, Ranchi, informed participants about the loan facilities available under various schemes, the application process, subsidies, and other related services. He advised participants to contact their bank branches for financial assistance and assured them of all possible support.

Sarita Pandey, Company Secretary, President, Laghu Udyog Bharati - Women's Wing, Ranchi, in her address, spoke about women's participation. She advised the aspiring entrepreneurs on how to move forward and grow their own businesses, empowering girls and women to become self-reliant and empower them, leading to the development of society and our nation. He explained in detail the schemes being run by the Ministry of MSME and encouraged self-employment.

MSME officials and guests present on the stage answered the participants' questions appropriately and urged aspiring entrepreneurs to take maximum advantage of the schemes available from the Ministry of MSME. Finally, Uddhav Pathak, Young Professional, MSME-Development Office, Ranchi, thanked the guests and participants present and wished them a bright future.
