Jharkhand/Seraikela: The archway of the Singhbhum Boys Club S-Type Durga Puja pandal in Seraikela district suddenly collapsed on Friday. Several people were present at the scene, but no one was injured, a major disaster was averted.
Locals reported that the weather suddenly deteriorated Friday afternoon, and heavy rain began. During this time, the half-constructed archway collapsed. Former Chief Minister Champai Soren and former Ichagarh MLA Arvind Kumar Singh had inaugurated the pandal late Thursday evening. Less than 24 hours after the inauguration, the archway collapsed.
The incident has sparked various discussions among the public. Some are attributing it to the negligence of the artisans, while others are considering it a harbinger of evil. Currently, the puja committee is working tirelessly to re-erect the archway, ensuring the safety of devotees and the puja arrangements are not affected.
