Case diary not presented on IAS Vinay Chaubey's bail plea, court gives date of September 10

 

Jharkhand/Ranchi: The bail plea of ​​former Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner and suspended IAS officer Vinay Kumar Chaubey, accused in the Khasmahal land scam, was heard in the special court of ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) in Hazaribagh on Saturday, September 6. However, the case diary could not be presented by the ACB during this time. The court has fixed September 10 for the next hearing of the case. During the hearing on the bail plea, the advocate presented the case on behalf of Vinay Chaubey. At the same time, the special public prosecutor gave his arguments on behalf of the ACB. But due to the non-availability of the case diary, the hearing could not proceed and the court fixed the next date. It is known that in the case in which IAS Vinay Kumar Chaubey has sought bail, the ACB had registered an FIR last month. In this regard, the ACB has registered case number 9/2025 and started investigation. It is alleged that during his tenure as Deputy Commissioner in Hazaribagh, he had committed irregularities in matters related to Khasmahal land.
