Painful accident in Poha factory, female worker dies

Ujjain: A female worker died in a painful accident in a Poha factory located in Chhoti Mayapuri in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon.Police said that Rubina wife of Bablu Shah, 40 years old resident of Virat Nagar was working in Diamond Agro Poha Factory located in Chhoti Mayapuri on Tuesday. During work in the afternoon, Rubina's clothes got entangled in the machine and she got caught in the machine. Hearing the woman's scream, the employees present on the spot immediately stopped the machine. But by then her hair had been separated. On receiving the information, Chimanganj Mandi police station reached the spot. But by then the employees had taken the woman to Charak Hospital. Where after examination, the doctor declared the woman dead. After the incident, the factory owner locked the factory and ran away.

Chimanganj Mandi police station in-charge Gajendra Pachoria said that the said Poha factory belongs to Mayank Jain resident Tulsi Nagar. Statements of the employees have been recorded after the incident. During preliminary investigation, the police found that work was being done in the factory without safety equipment.
