Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha general secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey reacted strongly to the statements of BJP leader Champai Soren. He issued a press statement saying that the BJP has no concern with the issues of the people of the state. An attempt is being made to divide the tribals and natives of Jharkhand in the name of Bangladeshi infiltration. The real purpose of the formation of the Special Task Force of the Central Government is a conspiracy to scare and weaken the tribal society. He said that the BJP is doing politics in the name of tribals, but while in power, they never recognized the Sarna Dharma Code.
General Secretary Vinod Pandey further said that the BJP has no right to corner the Jharkhand government on the issue of women's safety. Security on the international border is completely the subject of the central government. If infiltration has taken place, then the central government should take responsibility for it and take steps to correct its mistake. But the BJP seems to be working in accordance with its habit of blaming others for its mistakes.
On Champai Soren's statement on conversion, Pandey said that BJP has always tried to gain power by creating religious polarization. JMM has always fought for the rights of tribals and natives and will continue to do so. BJP should take concrete steps to protect the rights of tribals instead of doing politics on their issues.
