Ranchi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Jharkhand government minister and Giridih MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu. Senior BJP leaders described his death as extremely tragic and an irreparable loss to the political and social spheres of Jharkhand.
BJP State President Aditya Sahu said that the untimely demise of Sudivya Kumar Sonu was deeply saddening and shocking. He said that while remaining active in public life, Sonu had played an important role in public service and Jharkhand politics for a long period. His demise has caused an irreparable loss to the political and social sectors.
Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi said that he was deeply saddened by the news of Sudivya Kumar Sonu’s demise. He described Sonu as an able public representative and a personality dedicated to public service. His death is an irreparable loss for the politics of Jharkhand, he said.
Former Chief Ministers Arjun Munda, Raghubar Das, Champai Soren and Madhu Koda; National Minister Dr. Pradeep Verma; Union Ministers Annapurna Devi and Sanjay Seth; former state presidents Deepak Prakash and Ravindra Kumar Rai; Organisation General Secretary Karmveer Singh; State Vice Presidents Rakesh Prasad, Nilkanth Singh Munda, Abha Mahato, Balmukund Sahay, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Sunil Soren, Muneshwar Sahu and Geeta Koda also expressed grief over his demise.
