Chief Minister Congratulates Her on the Victory; Says Deepali Riya Has Brought Honor to Jharkhand and Bokaro and Become an Inspiration for the Youth
Ranchi: Deepali Riya, winner of the Miss Universe Jharkhand-2026 title, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his official residence on Kanke Road on Thursday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister congratulated her and extended his best wishes for a bright future.
While sharing the story of her struggle and success, Deepali Riya told the Chief Minister that she achieved this milestone after more than a year of continuous hard work, which included ramp walk practice, grooming classes, and specialized preparation for interviews. Deepali, a resident of Bokaro, had won the Miss Universe Jharkhand-2026 title at the competition held in Ranchi on March 29.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that by winning the Miss Universe Jharkhand-2026 crown, Deepali Riya has brought pride not only to Bokaro but to the entire state of Jharkhand. He expressed confidence that her achievement would serve as an inspiration for other young women and aspiring participants in the state.
The Chief Minister remarked that Jharkhand is a land of talent, and the state's youth are consistently bringing glory to the region through their outstanding performances across various fields.
