Youth invested Time with Children; Sports and Awareness Activities to be Organized

Ranchi, May 25: A five-day experiential learning program was launched at an orphanage located in Nivaranpur, coordinated by the Vivekananda Youthquake Foundation and organized by MY Bharat, Ranchi—an initiative operating under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. This program is scheduled to take place from May 25 to May 30, 2026.

The objective of the program is to channel the energy, creativity, and potential of youth aged 15 to 29 into positive activities and skill development initiatives, thereby ensuring their active participation in nation-building alongside their personal development.

As part of the program, 10 volunteers—connected through the MY Bharat portal—visited the orphanage and spent time interacting with the children. During this visit, guidance sessions, awareness programs, sports activities, and recreational events were organized for the children. In the coming days, the volunteers will continue to organize various activities aimed at fostering the holistic development of the children.

MY Bharat, Ranchi, regularly organizes such experiential learning programs, providing youth with the opportunity to engage with social institutions and fulfill their roles in volunteering and social responsibility.

Prominent attendees at the event included Ms. Shweta Singh, Deputy Director of MY Bharat, and Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, President of the Vivekananda Youthquake Foundation. The group of volunteers included Vishwajeet, Nitish, Yati, Siddhant, Lucky, Nabita, Jyoti, Shruti, Khushi, and Sakshi.

Interested youth can register on the [MY Bharat Portal](https://mybharat.gov.in utm_source=chatgpt.com) to participate in volunteering programs.
