Promoting Financial Awareness Among School Students Under the 'Gyan Abhiyan
The Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi Regional Office, is organizing financial literacy programs under the "Gyan Abhiyan" (Knowledge Campaign) from April 7 to April 13, 2026. In continuation of this initiative, programs were held on April 10 at the Kasturba CM School of Excellence and Manjurmati High School in Lohardaga. The Chief Guest—the Regional Director—provided the students with information regarding banking, digital payments, savings, investments, and financial prudence. Furthermore, the students were encouraged to become 'Financial Literacy Friends' and help spread awareness. As part of the program, a digital 'Financial Literacy Gallery' was also inaugurated at the schools, an initiative that was well-received by both the students and the teachers.
