Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to Chief Minister


A delegation from the Ranchi Bench of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's Residential Office on Kanke Road in the state capital, Ranchi.


The delegation comprised Judicial Member George Mathan, Accountant Member Ratnesh Sahay, Advocate Devesh Poddar, and Chartered Accountant Jaishankar Jaipuria.


During the meeting, the delegation submitted a request to the Chief Minister for the allocation of land for the construction of a building for the Ranchi Bench. Responding with a positive stance, Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured the delegation that the State Government would take the necessary initiatives in this regard and that a favorable decision regarding the proposal for land allocation would be taken expeditiously.


Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar was also present on this occasion.
