Polytechnic part-time lecturers met with the Chief Minister, demanding an extension of their service period to 65 years
Ranchi: A delegation from the Jharkhand State Polytechnic Part-time Lecturers' Association paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday in the Chief Minister's chamber at the Jharkhand Assembly.
Submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister, the delegation requested that the service period for need-based lecturers working in the state's state polytechnic institutions be extended to 65 years and that inconsistencies in the relevant regulations be addressed. The association members stated that long-serving lecturers need service security and clear regulations.
