People should not panic about domestic gas, supply is normal: Deputy Commissioner
Lohardaga: People have been urged not to panic about domestic gas in the district. A meeting was held via video conferencing with sales officers from LPG companies HPCL, IOCL, and BPCL, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tarachand. It was stated that gas bookings are currently affected due to a technical glitch in the server, which will be resolved soon.
The Deputy Commissioner clarified that there is adequate gas supply in the district and distribution is continuing normally, so consumers need not panic. He directed companies not to sell LPG cylinders above the prescribed price. Strict action will be taken if this is found. District Supply Officer Manish Kumar was also present at the meeting.
