Jharkhand State Bar Council Elections: 100 Candidates in the Fray
Ranchi. The nomination process for the Jharkhand State Bar Council elections ended on Wednesday. On the final day, 30 candidates filed their nomination papers, bringing the total number of candidates to 100. Nominations were filed before Chief Returning Officer Justice Ambuj Nath at his office in Doranda. Each candidate deposited ₹1.25 lakh. Scrutiny will take place on February 13th, the list will be published on the 14th, withdrawal of nominations will be accepted on the 17th, and the final list will be released on February 18th. Voting for 23 posts will take place on March 12th, with 25,001 voters participating.
