Road Safety Awareness Program Held in School, Students Informed About Traffic Rules
Lohardaga | 16 January 2026: Under the National Road Safety Month–2026, a school awareness program was organised by the Road Safety Team on the instructions of the District Transport Officer, Lohardaga. Students were educated about following traffic rules, using helmets and seat belts, avoiding overspeeding, and the importance of safe driving.
The team also informed citizens about the Rahveer Scheme, under which the government provides an incentive of ₹25,000 to any helpful citizen who takes an injured road accident victim to a hospital or health centre in time.
