New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today launched ECINET, a comprehensive digital platform, during the International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM) 2026 at Bharat Mandapam.
ECINET is now the world’s largest election service platform, integrating over 40 existing ECI apps and portals into a single interface. It aims to simplify the electoral process for citizens, candidates, and officials alike.
Key Highlights of ECINET:
* All-in-One Access: Citizens can register to vote, search for their names in the voter list, download e-EPIC cards, and track their applications in one place.
* Language Support: To ensure inclusivity, the platform is available in English and all 22 scheduled Indian languages.
* Candidate Info: Voters can easily access the "Know Your Candidate" (KYC) feature and contact election officials directly.
* Proven Success: The platform's beta version was successfully tested during the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, processing over 10 crore registration forms.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar stated that the platform adheres strictly to Indian laws and offers a secure, transparent experience. Election commissioners emphasized that ECINET would enhance public trust and speed up decision-making through digital innovation.
