Jharkhand Foundation Day Celebration Witnesses Flower Shower from Helicopters

Ranchi, 15 November :

The 25th Jharkhand Foundation Day celebration at Morabadi Ground on Saturday turned spectacular as flowers were showered from helicopters during the state-level Silver Jubilee programme.

Two helicopters flew over the venue and showered petals on the crowd, creating a moment of excitement and admiration. People were seen capturing the scene of the flying helicopters and the falling flowers on their mobile cameras. A large number of citizens gathered at the venue for the grand event.

Red Carpet Entry of the Chief Minister

In a film-style presentation, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, made a grand entry on a red-carpet ramp placed at the centre of the venue. Their arrival generated enthusiasm among the audience, who welcomed the Chief Minister with showers of petals.

As the Chief Minister and his wife walked along the ramp, local folk artists dressed as peacocks and tigers danced to the beats of traditional drums and nagadas, moving alongside them.

Both Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren greeted the crowd with folded hands and acknowledged their warm reception.

The moment they reached the stage, a colourful fireworks display lit up the venue, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Residents who arrived from Khunti’s Baksapur, Gumla, Torpa and other districts, including Malti Devi, Somari Munda, Jofes Aind and Randhir, praised the event. Many women expressed that they had come especially to hear the Chief Minister, noting that schemes like the Maiyya Samman Yojana had benefited them.

Heavy Traffic on Bariatu and Karamtoli Roads

Throughout Saturday, Bariatu and Karamtoli roads remained jammed due to the massive crowd heading to the Morabadi Ground. Many vehicles were stuck for hours. People from various districts travelled to the capital city to attend the state government’s event.

Despite the heavy congestion, police were seen managing traffic throughout the day. Even after the programme concluded, traffic personnel had a challenging time clearing the routes, with continuous movement from morning till late evening.
