The Deputy Commissioner inspected Upgraded Plus Two High School, Kariyatpur, and Government Upgraded Middle School, Koreyadih. He checked students’ attendance and interacted with the students of Class 12, asking them questions related to the subject of History and providing them with academic guidance. He instructed teachers to ensure quality education, conduct extra classes when needed, and complete the syllabus by the end of the academic session.
Later, he visited the Anganwadi Centre, Panchmadhav, where he interacted with children and reviewed the nutritional meals, attendance records, and cleanliness standards. He directed the center’s staff to ensure regular attendance and to pay special attention to the nutritional health of children.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also interacted with members of the Birhor community at Birhor Tola, Bariyat, and reviewed their housing conditions, health facilities, and electricity supply. He instructed the concerned officials to organize regular health camps, conduct special drives to extend the benefits of government welfare schemes to the community, and ensure prompt repair of housing units and electricity connections.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that effective implementation of welfare schemes and continuous monitoring are essential for improving the standard of living of rural and tribal populations in the district.
