Jharkhand/Ranchi: A group of seven Swami Saints from the Swami Narayan Temple in Bhuj, Gujarat, arrived at the Ranchi District School grounds on Sunday to view the replica of the Shri Swami Narayan Temple in Bhuj, Gujarat, under the aegis of the Shri Ram Lalla Puja Committee.
The team of seven saints included Swami Sant Jeevan Das, Nayal Karan Das, Varjajivan Das, Dharma Vatsal Das, Bhakti Vallabh Das, and Bhagwan Das.
Committee President Ashok Chaudhary and spokesperson Pramod Saraswat gave them a tour of the Swami Narayan Temple within the pandal. They visited the sanctum sanctorum of the pandal and received blessings from the Mother Goddess. The saints had arrived from Bhuj with the idol of Swami Narayan. They meticulously inspected the artwork throughout the pandal and remarked that the pandal resembles the white marble of Bhuj.
He explained that when the committee received information about the design of the pandal in Bhuj, their Mahant Swami Dharma Nandan Das ordered them to travel to Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, to inspect the design. He, along with seven Swami saints, arrived in Ranchi to inspect the pandal.
He added that they were all delighted to interact with the members of the Gujarati community in Ranchi. The committee honored all the Swami saints with robes and garlands. The saints greeted all the members with robes and distributed prasad brought from the Bhuj temple.
Meanwhile, the District School Puja Pandal was thronged with devotees from the morning, and continued to throng until late evening. People were overwhelmed by the grand display of the Puja pandal and the magnificent form of Goddess Durga. They were also touring the fair held on the District School campus.
Present on the occasion were Ashok Chaudhary, Kunal Ajmani, Nirmal Jalan, Vikas Singh, Pramod Saraswat, Deepak Chaudhary, Anand Manik, Anil Chaudhary, Manish Lodha, Arun Goenka, Amit Chaudhary, Badal Singh and others.
