Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized a march to mark its centenary year

Jharkhand/Ranchi: To mark the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a march was organized on Sunday in Indraprastha Basti of Balmiki Nagar in Ranchi, in which hundreds of volunteers and members of the community participated.

The march began at Swami Pranvanand Birsa Munda Hostel and passed through Swami Sahajanand Colony, Birla Hanuman Temple, and Rani Bagh before returning to the hostel. People were welcomed with flower showers at various locations along the march. Volunteers carried saffron flags in the lead.

On this occasion, in the hostel auditorium, the statues of RSS founder, Param Pujya Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar, the second Sarsanghchalak, Param Pujya Madhav Rao Sada Shiv Golwalkar, Bharat Mata, and Maa Durga were decorated with garlands and weapons were worshipped. Finally, the program concluded with a prayer by the RSS.

Former district pracharak of the Sangh, Sushil Jha, said that the Sangh was established in 1925 with the aim of contributing to nation building, social harmony, family enlightenment, social harmony, environmental protection and promotion of Swadeshi.

The march was attended by Ashok Kumar, Prakash Chandra Sinha, Devendra Shandilya, Rajkishore Prasad, Virendra Thakur, Ganesh Singh, Uttam Sahu, Ritesh Kishore, Krishna Pandit, Dhananjay Pathak, Brajkishore Sharma and other volunteers.
