Jharkhand/Ranchi: Light to moderate rain is expected across Jharkhand on September 25th.
The Meteorological Department announced this on Wednesday. The department has predicted heavy rain in parts of the state's southern and western districts. Strong winds with speeds of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour and lightning are also expected. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for this.
In the last 24 hours, Sonua in West Singhbhum district recorded the highest rainfall of 109 mm, while Ranchi recorded 21 mm of rain during this period.
On Wednesday, the weather in Ranchi and surrounding areas remained clear and sunny since morning. However, there were occasional clouds, which made the weather pleasant.
It is noteworthy that heavy rain has been recorded in various districts of the state, including the capital Ranchi, for the past two to three days. During the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius in Godda and the lowest temperature was recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius in Latehar.
During this period, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius in Ranchi, 33.6 degrees Celsius in Jamshedpur, 34 degrees Celsius in Daltonganj, 33.1 degrees Celsius in Bokaro and 34.4 degrees Celsius in Chaibasa.
