Ranchi: A review meeting was held regarding the preparations for Independence Day 2025 celebrations under the chairmanship of Commissioner Anjani Kumar Mishra in the auditorium of Divisional Commissioner, South Chotanagpur, Division, Ranchi. In the meeting, the officials of the concerned departments reviewed the preparations for the main program to be organized at Morhabadi Ground on the occasion of 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 - invitation letter, national anthem, proper arrangement of stage-pandal, cleaning and garlanding of statues of great men, parade rehearsal, medical arrangements, drinking water arrangements, repair and cleaning of roads, electrification, security arrangements etc.
The Commissioner gave necessary guidelines regarding the program
On the occasion of Independence Day celebrations (August 15, 2025), keeping in mind the minute-to-minute program of the Governor, Jharkhand, instructions were given to the concerned officials to ensure proper arrangements for the flag hoisting program on time. Also, the police officers present were instructed to make foolproof arrangements for the security of the Governor. He said that invitation letters, gate passes etc. should be made available to all the dignitaries on time and it should be ensured that no person is left out.
The Commissioner instructed the officials of the Municipal Corporation to get the areas around the Birsa Munda Samadhi Sthal completely cleaned. Also, instructions were given to clean all the roads leading to the main function venue of the city and the entire city. In the meeting, the Parade Commander informed that this time 14 security force contingents will participate in the parade. The final rehearsal will be done on August 13. Instructions were given to complete the proper arrangements of the saluting stage on time. He said that there should be no possibility of any kind of mistake in the stage arrangements.
Apart from this, the concerned officers were instructed to make arrangements for the quality of the mike system, marking of space for vehicle parking, proper arrangement of ambulance and fire fighting vehicles, barricading, electrification and generator as per requirement, proper arrangement of drinking water and toilets etc.
