Namo Dahi Handi competition will be organized on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami: Mukesh Kabra

 

Ranchi: Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival will be celebrated on 16th and 17th August at Albert Ekka Chowk, Main Road, venue under the aegis of Shri Krishna Janmotsav Samiti, Ranchi. President Mukesh Kabra said that this festival has been celebrated 14 times by the committee. We are entering the 15th year.

  On the first day, 16th August at 4:00 pm, Bal Gopal competition and tableau competition of Shri Krishna have been organized in which Bal Gopal children will be able to participate in this competition with different forms of Shri Krishna. The inauguration of Shri Krishna Bal Roop tableau will be done by the President and Secretary of the religious and social as well as business organizations of Ranchi along with special guests and officials of the organization.

  On the second day, 17th August at 4:00 pm, Namo Dahi Handi- Phodo competition along with Bhajan Sandhya along with dance drama performance and patriotic songs have been organized. Male and female Govinda teams will be able to participate in the Namo Dahi Handi competition. Some rules and conditions have also been kept along with registration in the Dahi Handi competition.

  Committee President Mukesh Kabra said that the male Govinda will be given a first prize of 1 lakh 1 rupee and 41 thousand rupees as the second prize.

  Along with this, the female Govinda will be given a first prize of 51 thousand rupees and 21 thousand rupees as the second prize. If the Govindas of more than one team break the handi, then the Govinda team that breaks the handi in less time will be given the first and second prizes. The age of boys and girls participating in the Bal Gopal tableau should be less than 12 years.

  Apart from the first and second prizes, all the children will be given consolation prizes by the organizing committee. Participants of Gobindao's team and Bal Gopal tableau competition should get their registration done as soon as possible by taking the form from Satish Sinha (phone number 9431101328) at Main Road, Kedia Cycle and Chutia by 15th August.

  Media in-charge Pramod Saraswat, Sanjay Poddar have requested all the religious people of the capital to attend this event along with their families and friends on 16th and 17th August under the aegis of Shri Krishna Janmotsav Samiti. More than 25 departments have been created by the committee for the success of the event. In these departments, more than 100 members are engaged in making the event successful with their responsibilities at their own level.
