Organizing Jail Court on the occasion of Independence Day

 

Ranchi: As per the instructions of JHALSA, District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi organized Jail Court-cum-Legal Awareness Camp at Birsa Munda Central Jail Hotwar, Ranchi on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day on 15.08.2025. Mayank Maliaz, Saurabh Kumar, Shailendra Kumar, Rajesh Ranjan Kumar, Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi and Vijay Kumar Yadav Railway Judicial Magistrate were present on the said occasion. For the execution of 09 cases pending in various courts, the application of the prisoners confined in Birsa Munda Central Jail Hotwar, Ranchi was submitted for Jail Court. 06 prisoners were released from jail giving the benefit of Jail Court.

   It is to be noted that for this, Chief LADC Praveen Kumar Srivastava and Deputy LADC Rajesh Kumar Sinha were present on behalf of District Legal Services Authority Ranchi of Ranchi Civil Court. On the occasion of Independence Day, prisoners were released in the jail court, giving them the benefit of the period spent in jail. On the said occasion, the jail superintendent, jailor, jail clerk, jail staff, Birsa Munda Central Jail Hotwar, Ranchi, and members of LADC, court staff and prisoners were present.
