Bhopal: Air India flight coming from Delhi to Indore developed a technical fault shortly after takeoff. It is said that an alert was received about a fire in the right engine of the plane. This was immediately reported to the concerned authority, after which the pilot immediately shut down the right engine and made an emergency landing of the plane on one engine at Delhi airport.

On Sunday, Air India flight AI 2913 took off from Delhi to Indore. As soon as the plane took off, the pilot started getting fire indication. After this, the pilot sent an alert and asked for permission to land again. Immediately after this, the plane was landed safely. During this, the ground staff was kept on alert.

Air India said that there was a technical fault in flight number AI 2913. As soon as the alarm sounded, the pilot followed the standard operating procedure without delay. The plane was brought back to Delhi airport while keeping it under control. Immediately after landing, the passengers were evacuated safely. The security and fire brigade already present on the runway have inspected the aircraft. Safety protocols were strictly followed during the entire operation.

Air India informed that an alternate aircraft is being arranged to take the passengers to Indore. The regulatory authority has been informed about this incident. Air India has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers and said that the safety of passengers and crew is the top priority of the company. Air India has said that no compromise has been made regarding the safety of the passengers. We are investigating the matter. A team of engineers is conducting a technical investigation so that the real cause of the fault can be revealed.
