Ranchi. The Jharkhand state government has taken an important step to deal with the problem of stray dogs. The Animal Husbandry Department has decided to control the population of stray dogs through the Animal Birth Control (ABC) program. For the success of this program, an NGO will be selected in every district which will run the ABC campaign. The Animal Husbandry Department has sought applications from interested NGOs in the prescribed format by June 14.
