Ranchi: Jharkhand government minister Sudivya Kumar inspected the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Samadhi Sthal located at Kokar in Ranchi. He said that this place is a symbol of faith, self-respect and historical consciousness of the people of Jharkhand.
During the inspection, the current condition of the site, maintenance, cleanliness and possibilities of possible expansion were reviewed. He asked the officials to prepare a proposal by considering the acquisition of land around the Samadhi Sthal, so that this historical site can be expanded in future.
Minister Sudivya Kumar also said that the lighting system in the complex will be strengthened and a beautiful park and proper seating facilities for visitors will be developed. Also, work will be done towards displaying information to make people aware of the glorious history and contribution of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He said, this place is not just a mausoleum, but our cultural heritage. Work will soon start towards developing it as a beautiful and inspirational site.
