Dalsa Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar said that for the successful organization of the National Lok Adalat, 39 benches have been constituted for judicial magistrates and 19 benches for executive magistrates. Meetings were held earlier with judicial magistrates, bank and insurance company representatives, police administration and district administration. Maximum number of notices have been sent to litigants through courts by establishing coordination with police administration, so that maximum number of cases can be settled in today's Lok Adalat.
During the program, the Justice Commissioner distributed cheques among the beneficiaries in Lok Adalat. He distributed a cheque of Rs. 98,87,965 to Madeshwar Pandey as vehicle accident compensation. The Justice Commissioner provided a cheque of Rs. 5,00,000/- to Rani Devi as victim compensation. Wheel chairs were also distributed to Divyangjans, including Sonu Gop, Wasim Khan, by the hands of the Justice Commissioner. Other judicial officers also distributed cheques worth Rs. 68,00,000/- among a total of 25 victims under Jharkhand Victim Compensation. In vehicle accident compensation, cheques worth Rs. 73,55,851/- were distributed among the victims by judicial officers. In the National Lok Adalat being organized, a total of 34666 pending cases and 293638 pre-litigation cases were resolved and a settlement of Rs. 1,39,59,20,987 was made.
On this occasion, Justice Commissioner Anil Kumar Mishra-1, Principal Judge Family Court, S.S. Fatmi, AJC-15, Amit Shekhar, AJC-2, Yashwant Prakash and other Additional Justice Commissioners, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandan and all Judicial Magistrates, Ranchi District Bar Association President Shambhu Prasad Agarwal, General Secretary Sanjay Kumar Vidrohi, LADCS members, advocates, employees, PLVs and others were present. The inaugural program was conducted by DALSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar.
