Badminton tournament to be organized on 22nd June: Chamber

 

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries organized a press conference in the Chamber Bhawan in which it was said that the badminton tournament to be held on 22nd June will be organized in collaboration with Badminton Association of Ranchi District (BARD).

       On 22nd June, the Chamber will organize a badminton tournament with government and non-government organizations, in which more than 50 organizations will participate and 250 players will participate. Chamber President Paresh Gattani and General Secretary Aditya Malhotra jointly said that this tournament is being organized with the aim of promoting sportsmanship, this will increase the awareness of people towards sports in the state and in future the players of Jharkhand state will be able to raise their and the state's name across the country.

          Sub-committee Chairman Arun Bhartiya and Gautam Shahi jointly said that this game will strengthen the mutual coordination between the government and the businessmen. The matter of inviting government departments to this tournament was also discussed. It was suggested that the sports and other departments of the government should also be associated with this tournament. It was also said that schools and colleges will also be invited to participate in this tournament. Food and beverages will be arranged from morning to evening in the tournament. A medical team will also be deployed. The winning team will be given cash prizes as well as other prizes. The poster of the badminton tournament was also released during the press conference.

     On this occasion, Chamber President Paresh Gattani, General Secretary Aditya Malhotra, Executive Member Mukesh Agarwal, Chamber Connect Sub-Committee Chairman Arun Bhartia, Sports Sub-Committee Chairman Gautam Shahi, BARD Secretary Nirmal Dey, National Badminton Player Manisha Rani Tirkey, Members Shashank Bhardwaj, Abhishek Jhajharia, Saurav Agarwal, Alok Kumar, Anuj Agarwal, Varun Sakhuja and others were present.
