Ranchi: 14705 Home Guard jawans will be deputed in Jharkhand assembly elections. The deputation of Home Guard jawans will be for 16 days. Regarding this, IG Abhiyan has written a letter to Home Guard DG and requested. In the letter, it has been said that a large number of forces will need to be deputed to conduct the assembly elections peacefully. Regarding this, it seems necessary to depute 70% i.e. 14705 Home Guards out of the total 21007 Home Guard jawans available in all the districts of Jharkhand for election duty.
