Territorial Army Launches ‘Terrier Cyber Quest 2026’ to Promote Indigenous Cybersecurity Solutions
New Delhi, August 21: The Territorial Army, in collaboration with CyberPeace, has launched ‘Terrier Cyber Quest 2026’ (TCQ 3.0), a national-level hackathon aimed at developing innovative and indigenous solutions to challenges in defence, cybersecurity and information security.
The third edition will bring together technical talent from the Armed Forces, academia, industry, research institutions and government organisations. The initiative will focus on Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, threat management and digital awareness to strengthen India’s national security capabilities.
The competition will feature three categories — ‘Bug Hunting’, ‘AI Kavach’ and ‘Creators Challenge’. Bug Hunting will focus on identifying cybersecurity vulnerabilities, while AI Kavach will encourage solutions based on AI and machine learning for threat intelligence, automated security and anomaly detection.
The Creators Challenge will encourage content creators and communicators to develop awareness campaigns against digital threats such as deepfakes, phishing, online fraud and misinformation.
Registration for the competition will remain open until August 31, 2026. The online selection process will be held from September 1 to 10, followed by the grand finale in New Delhi from October 6 to 8. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on October 9, 2026.
