CCL Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Grandeur
Ranchi, August 15, 2026: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh hoisted the National Flag at Mahatma Gandhi Kridangan in Gandhinagar Colony and took the salute.
Addressing the gathering, CMD Singh paid tribute to the freedom fighters and highlighted CCL’s contribution to India’s energy security, industrial development and the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. He also emphasised coal production growth, environmental conservation, renewable energy and community development initiatives.
Security personnel, CISF members, NCC cadets and meritorious students were honoured for their outstanding performance and dedication. Students from DAV Gandhinagar, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Gyanodaya School presented patriotic cultural programmes.
Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra also hoisted the National Flag at Darbhanga House and Gandhinagar Hospital and extended Independence Day greetings to all.
