Kejriwal's scathing attack on the Modi government: 'Should have spoken to Sonam Wangchuk; forcibly taking him to the hospital was wrong'
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led central government over the alleged forcible hospitalisation of environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk.
Writing on the social media platform X, Kejriwal stated that the government should have engaged in dialogue with Sonam Wangchuk instead of resorting to the use of force. He remarked, "Such arrogance is not right. Instead of forcibly removing him, the Modi government should have spoken to Sonam Wangchuk."
He further alleged that the government should focus on improving the country's education and examination systems rather than suppressing protests. Kejriwal termed the use of force against Sonam Wangchuk a moral defeat for the Modi government.
