Chief Minister Hemant Soren to Attend Rath Yatra Festival; Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee Extends Invitation
Ranchi: A delegation from the Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his official residence on Kanke Road, Ranchi. During the meeting, the committee invited the Chief Minister to attend the Rath Yatra festival, which is scheduled to begin on July 16, 2026.
The delegation briefed the Chief Minister on the preparations for the festival and the sentiments of the local people, requesting his presence at the inaugural ceremony. Chief Minister Hemant Soren accepted the invitation and extended his best wishes for the success of the Rath Yatra festival.
Present on the occasion were Jagannathpur Temple Trust Committee President N.N. Pandey, *Pratham Sevak* (chief servitor) Thakur Sudhanshu Nath Shahdeo, Secretary Prasanna Kumar, and members Gopal Upadhyay, Neetu Devi, Kamal Thakur, and Amardeep Kaushal.
