BJP Pays Tribute on Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee's Martyrdom Day

Ranchi/Giridih: BJP leaders and workers across the state paid tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, on his 73rd martyrdom day. BJP State President Aditya Sahu and State Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh paid floral tributes at his statue and portrait at the state office and Mukherjee Park.

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi paid a heartfelt tribute by offering floral homage to Dr. Mukherjee's portrait at an event organized in the Chandauri Mandal under the Tisri block of Giridih district.

Speaking on the occasion, Babulal Marandi stated that Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee left the field of education to enter politics, driven by concern over the country's prevailing circumstances and the Congress party's politics of appeasement. His contribution to safeguarding the nation's unity, integrity, and self-respect is unparalleled. He remarked that Dr. Mukherjee's struggle and sacrifice for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir constitute a golden chapter in Indian history.

Marandi noted that Dr. Mukherjee's resolve—"Two constitutions, two heads, and two flags will not be accepted in one country"—remains a source of inspiration for the nation's citizens today. By founding the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he gave a new direction to the politics of "Nation First" and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure Jammu and Kashmir remained an integral part of India.

State President Aditya Sahu stated that Dr. Mukherjee's life was dedicated to preserving India's unity, integrity, and cultural identity. Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh added that his spirit of sacrifice, dedication, and service to the nation serves as an inspiration for all.

At tribute events organized in various Mandals across the state, BJP leaders and workers pledged to follow Dr. Mukherjee's ideals and prioritize the national interest above all else. Several senior office-bearers and workers, including Rakesh Prasad, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Ganesh Mishra, and Manoj Singh, were present at these events.
