Lohardaga Mangoes Reach Dubai: First Export of 1.5 Metric Tonnes of Amrapali Mangoes

Lohardaga: For the first time, 1.5 metric tonnes of Amrapali mangoes from Lohardaga district have been exported to Dubai. The consignment was flagged off virtually from the APEDA headquarters in Kolkata. Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena described this as a historic step towards linking the district's agricultural economy with the global market. He noted that mango production in the district has seen a significant increase due to the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana and efforts towards horticultural development. Plans are in place to export Lohardaga's mangoes to Gulf countries, Europe, and other international markets in the future with APEDA's support.
