Chaos Ensues Near Nucleus Mall-2; Ranchi Municipal Corporation Orders Action Against Agency
Ranchi: On Monday, during a severe storm accompanied by heavy rain in the state capital, Ranchi, a large monopole advertising billboard suddenly collapsed near Nucleus Mall-2 on Kanke Road. Traffic was flowing normally on the road at the time of the incident; however, fortunately, the accident resulted in no major damage, and people narrowly escaped injury. The collapse of the billboard immediately created an atmosphere of chaos and panic in the area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation took serious cognizance of the matter and initiated immediate action. Acting on the directives of the Municipal Commissioner, a corporation team arrived at the scene and, as a safety precaution, had the fallen monopole structure removed to ensure that neither traffic nor the general public faced any inconvenience.
According to the Municipal Corporation, following this incident—which occurred in the Ward No. 01 area—the process of initiating strict action against the concerned agency is now underway. Corporation officials have been directed to seek an explanation from the agency, inspect the monopole structure, and submit a detailed report within two days.
