No Shortage of Petrol and Diesel in Ranchi; Avoid Rumors : SDO Kumar Rajat
Ranchi: Acting on the directives of District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Kumar Rajat held a meeting on Monday with representatives of various oil companies to review the petrol and diesel supply situation in the district.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding circulating reports concerning fuel shortages at certain petrol pumps in the Namkum and Pithoria areas. Representatives from the oil companies informed the administration that the supply of petrol and diesel in Ranchi is completely normal, and there are no disruptions of any kind anywhere.
SDO Kumar Rajat stated that the general public need not pay heed to rumors. He directed the companies to ensure the swift resolution of any issues related to logistics and transportation, thereby preventing any inconvenience to citizens.
The administration has instructed all oil companies to continuously monitor their retail outlets and to ensure that situations involving unnecessary crowding or hoarding do not arise.
The district administration has clarified that there is an adequate availability of petrol and diesel within the district, and citizens should purchase fuel strictly according to their actual requirements.
